Community Title Reports

What Is A Community Title Report?

A community title in NSW relates to properties with at least two lots that share a common area, such as a driveway or recreational land. It usually refers to large estates which could include several residential lots as well as commercial and retail outlets. Our Community Title Report lays out all your property considerations.

When Do You Need A Community Title Report?

Community Titles can be a bit of a minefield for prospective buyers.

Shared ownership of common areas comes with a community title. Here are some of the benefits:

  • Recreational facilities like swimming pools and gardens
  • An increased role in managing common facilities
  • Building and landscaping that add value to your property
  • Facilities and lots owned by the community are insured

Although community titles have many advantages, they also have some disadvantages. Among them are:

  • The costs of community fees can be high
  • Building and landscaping standards can impose restrictions on your property
  • The varying lots (commercial, residential, etc.) of the estate can make regulations more complex
  • Insurance covers none of your lot

When you order a Community Title Report from us, you’ll have peace of mind before you sign on the line for your new property.

Our reports start from just $300.00 plus gst.
